Kumi Area Cooperative Enterprise (KACE) was founded in 2017 by cassava farmers in Kumi District who faced low prices, post-harvest losses, and limited market access. By coming together, they built a solution rooted in unity, value addition, and shared ownership.
Today, KACE represents over 1,200 farmers who collectively supply cassava processed into high-quality products for local and regional markets.
